MA SPACE has active connections with Limerick city, national and international venues and cultural industry organisations such as: the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the National Sculpture Factory Cork, Creative Time, New York, Callan Workhouse Union, Kilkenny, Ormston House Gallery, Limerick, Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbeereen County Cork, Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford, With For About: Art, Activism & Community, St Helens, Heart of Glass, UK. 

 

We attend Conferences and Talks, this year included the Social Art Summit, Sheffield, UK, Town Planners, Carlow, CAAP, Dublin and The Virtual Symposium, where postgrads presented their work to audiences in England, Scotland and ireland.

Programme staff and students participated in the 2016 The European Academy of Participation (EAP). http://www.creatisity.org/

The project was financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. The European Academy of Participation (EAP) brought together 10 organisations from all over Europe, from higher education, from the arts and culture. MA SPACE contributed at four international events in London, Marseilles, Amsterdam and Turkey.

 

MA SPACE Residencies include the Artists Guesthouse Cork in 2014, 2016 and 2017. The National Sculpture Factory 2018.

In 2013 staff presented MA SPACE research at Open Engagement 2013, International Conference, Portland, Oregan, USA. MA SPACE was also a partner and screening site for The Creative Time Summit, New York in 2013 and 2014.
